Abstract
An electronic apparatus comprising: a first flexible substrate; a second flexible substrate facing the first flexible substrate; and a first barrier film provided on a surface of the first flexible substrate that faces the second flexible substrate and formed by an inorganic insulating film, wherein the first flexible substrate has a superimposition region in which the first barrier film is provided and a non-superimposition region that is provided between a side surface of the first barrier film and a side surface of the first flexible substrate and in which the first barrier film is not provided.
Claims7
An electronic apparatus comprising:
- a first flexible substrate;
- a second flexible substrate facing the first flexible substrate;
- and
- a first barrier film provided on a surface of the first flexible substrate that faces the second flexible substrate and formed by an inorganic insulating film, wherein
- the first flexible substrate has a superimposition region in which the first barrier film is provided and a non-superimposition region that is provided between a side surface of the first barrier film and a side surface of the first flexible substrate and in which the first barrier film is not provided.
A method for manufacturing an electronic apparatus that includes:
- a first flexible substrate;
- and
- a second flexible substrate facing the first flexible substrate, the method comprising:
- forming a first barrier film formed by an inorganic insulating film on the first flexible substrate to form a superimposition region in which the first barrier film is provided and a non-superimposition region that is provided between a side surface of the first barrier film and a side surface of the first flexible substrate and in which the first barrier film is not provided;
- and
- bonding the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate and cutting the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate along the non-superimposition region.
