Abstract
Technologies and implementations for a defibrillator electrode having communicative capabilities are generally disclosed.
Claims20
An electrode assembly comprising:
- electrodes;
- a connector coupled to the electrodes and configured to connect the electrodes to a defibrillator;
- and
- a circuit coupled to one of the electrodes and configured to cause information to be transmitted to the defibrillator, wherein the information is indicative of a number of shocks delivered with the electrodes.

A method comprising:
- receiving, by a circuit of an electrode assembly, an electrical signal;
- and
- causing, by the circuit, and based on the receiving of the electrical signal, information to be transmitted to a defibrillator that is coupled to electrodes of the electrode assembly via a connector of the electrode assembly, wherein the information is indicative of a number of shocks delivered with the electrodes.
A system comprising:
- a first electrode;
- a second electrode;
- a first signal line coupled to the first electrode;
- a second signal line coupled to the second electrode;
- a connector coupled to the first signal line and to the second signal line, the connector configured to connect the first electrode and the second electrode to a defibrillator;
- and
- a circuit coupled to the first electrode and configured to cause information to be transmitted to the defibrillator, wherein the information is indicative of a number of shocks delivered with the first electrode and the second electrode.
