Abstract
A handle for a kitchen object is provided, including a part for attachment or connection to an object made of phenol resin, an intermediate part which winds around and partially incorporates the part for attachment or connection, and an external part or skin for covering or coating the intermediate part.
Claims19
A handle for a kitchen object, such as a pan, a bowl, a saucepan, a frying pan, a wok, a grill pan, a lid, a pot or a container, said handle comprising:
- a part for attachment or connection to an object made of phenol resin,
- an intermediate part which winds around and partially incorporates said at least one attachment or connection part, said at least one intermediate part being made of at least one material selected from the group constituted by PA (polyamide), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene), ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene), polystyrene (PS) and other materials or thermoplastic polymers or mixtures thereof, with addition of reinforcement fibers,
- an external part for covering or coating said intermediate part, said external part being made of at least one material selected from the group constituted by PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), PA (polyamide) and other materials or polymers or mixtures thereof.
A method for obtaining at least one handle for a kitchen object, such as a pan, a bowl, a saucepan, a frying pan, a wok, a grill pan, a lid, a pot or a container, and such handle comprises a part for attachment or connection to a kitchen object, an intermediate part which winds around and partially incorporates said at least one attachment or connection part and an external part for covering or coating said intermediate part, comprising the following steps:
- making at least one attachment part,
- loading said at least one attachment part on a first component or male component of a mold in open position,
- closing said mold or better yet engaging said first component by means of a second component or second female component of said mold in a first closed position, so as to define a first molding impression around the attachment part,
- molding, in the first impression defined by said first component and by said second component in a first closed position, an intermediate part around said at least one attachment part,
- opening said mold or better yet moving apart said first and said second component and closing the mold or better yet engaging said first component in a second closed position by means of a third component or third female component, so as to define a second molding impression around said at least one attachment part that is provided or coated with said intermediate part,
- molding, in the second impression defined by said first component and by said third component in a second closed position, at least one external part around the intermediate part so as to obtain at least one handle,
- opening said mold and unloading the handle obtained.
A mold for obtaining at least one handle for a kitchen object, such as a pan, a bowl, a saucepan, a frying pan, a wok, a grill pan, a lid, a pot or a container, and such handle comprises a part for attachment or connection to a kitchen object, an intermediate part which winds around and partially incorporates said at least one attachment or connection part and an external part for covering or coating said intermediate part, said mold comprising a first element or half-mold including a first component or male component and a second element or half-mold including a second component or second female component and a third component or third female component, said second and said third component being angularly offset or arranged in zones of the second element or half-mold that are angularly offset from each other,
- at least one from between said first and said second element being rotatably mounted around a rotation axis, such that by rotating said first or said second element around the respective rotation axis, while the other element, second or first, is kept stationary, it is possible to bring said first component to face and hence alternatively engage or close said second and said third component.
