Abstract
A system and method of adjusting a refresh rate to match a given remote desktop stream frame rate is described. The system may include a processing device to transmit, as a media stream, a portion of a remote desktop image with a frame rate that matches a refresh rate to a remote desktop client.
Claims19
A non-transitory computer-readable medium including instructions that, when executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to:
- transmit, by the processing device as a media stream, a portion of a remote desktop image with a frame rate that matches a refresh rate to a remote desktop client.
A system comprising:
- a memory device;
- a processing device operatively coupled to the memory device, the processing device to:
- transmit, as a media stream, a portion of a remote desktop image with a frame rate that matches a refresh rate to a remote desktop client.
The system of claim 12, wherein the refresh rate is to be changed by the hypervisor.
The system of claim 12, wherein the virtual machine server environment executes on one or more host machines, and includes a plurality of virtual machines managed by a hypervisor.
The system of claim 12, wherein the virtual machine server environment comprises a virtual machine graphics processing unit (GPU).
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a graphics processing unit (GPU) in a virtual machine a first refresh rate based on a frame rate;
- and
- drawing framebuffers to create a portion of a remote desktop image at a second refresh rate that matches the frame rate.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
