Inertia-based energy storage method

An inertia-based energy storage method working with an inertia-based energy storage device, which is capable of regulating fluid pressure and comprises a cavity for accommodating fluid, and a kinetic energy recovery device for recovering deceleration kinetic energy of the fluid, the method comprising:

• providing the fluid, and filling the fluid into the cavity before accelerating it;
• accelerating the fluid and thereafter decelerating the fluid, recovering the deceleration kinetic energy of the fluid by the kinetic energy recovery device in decelerating the fluid;
• wherein in the process of accelerating or decelerating the fluid, pressure of the fluid is regulated from a first pressure to a second pressure depending on a rate of change in velocity and a state of motion of the liquid under a varying-speed motion of the fluid;
• and
• extracting pressure energy generated in the fluid under the second pressure, if the first pressure is lower than the second pressure after the pressure of the fluid is regulated from the first pressure to the second pressure.
