Abstract
A composition for inhibiting the formation of hypertrophic scar, comprising at least one of a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence having a dipeptide sequence represented by Pro-Hyp or Hyp-Gly, a chemically-modified form thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

A method for inhibiting a formation of hypertrophic scar, comprising administering an effective amount of at least one of a polypeptide consisting of an amino acid sequence having a dipeptide sequence represented by Pro-Hyp or Hyp-Gly, a chemically-modified form thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to a subject in need thereof.
