Identification and notification of aberrant prescription activity

A system for relationship discovery of physician prescription behavior, comprising:

• ingesting patient data received from a plurality of healthcare data providers and physician data from a plurality of physician practices;
• determining one or more relationships between the ingested patient data and physician data, wherein at least one new enriched data set is created based on the determined one or more relationships, wherein the enriched data set includes determined relationships with supplemental reference data;
• and
• generating an alert based at least in part on an indicator of aberrant prescription activity among the determined one or more relationships within the enriched data set.
