Abstract
A ceiling fan assembly a motor assembly having a non-rotating, hollow, motor shaft, a stator winding carried by the motor shaft, a wiring harness passing through the hollow of the motor shaft and electrically coupled to the stator winding.

A ceiling fan assembly comprising:
- a motor assembly having a non-rotating, hollow, motor shaft;
- a stator winding carried by the motor shaft;
- a wiring harness passing through the hollow of the motor shaft and electrically coupled to the stator winding;
- and,
- a hollow down rod mounted to the motor shaft and the wiring harness passing through the hollow of the down rod and the non-rotating shaft.

A ceiling fan assembly comprising:
- a motor assembly having a non-rotating, hollow, motor shaft;
- a stator winding carried by the motor shaft;
- and,
- a wiring harness comprising a wiring conduit and body extending from an end of the conduit, wherein the wiring conduit passes through the hollow of the motor shaft and electrically couples to the stator winding and the body is received in a central aperture of the stator.
