A method for preparing a separator for a lithium secondary battery, the method comprising,
- forming, on a surface of a substrate, a first coating layer including a first organic binder containing an ethylenically unsaturated group and a second coating layer including a second organic binder and inorganic particles.
A lithium secondary battery comprising:
- an electrode assembly including:
- at least one unit cell including at least one positive electrode, at least one negative electrode, and at least one first separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode;
- and a second separator interposed between the unit cells;
- and
- a gel polymer electrolyte of an oligomer containing a (meth) acrylate group, wherein
- the first separator and the second separator each comprise:
- a first coating layer including a first organic binder containing an ethylenically unsaturated group;
- and
- a second coating layer including a second organic binder and inorganic particles, and
- a polymer network in a three-dimensional structure of a polymer of the first organic binder containing an ethylenically unsaturated group and the oligomer containing a (meth) acrylate group.
