Abstract
A method may include selecting, based on a condition of an electromagnetic load, a selected measurement technique from of a plurality of impedance measurement techniques for measuring an impedance of the electromagnetic load and performing the selected measurement technique to generate an estimate of the impedance of the electromagnetic load.
Claims43
A method comprising:
- selecting, based on a condition of an electromagnetic load, a selected measurement technique from of a plurality of impedance measurement techniques for measuring an impedance of the electromagnetic load;
- and
- performing the selected measurement technique to generate an estimate of the impedance of the electromagnetic load.
A system for estimating impedance of an electromagnetic load comprising:
- selecting, based on a condition of the electromagnetic load, a selected measurement technique from of a plurality of impedance measurement techniques for measuring an impedance of the electromagnetic load;
- and
- performing the selected measurement technique to generate an estimate of the impedance of the electromagnetic load.
A host device comprising:
- an electromagnetic load;
- and
- a subsystem coupled to the electromagnetic load and configured to:
- select, based on a condition of the electromagnetic load, a selected measurement technique from of a plurality of impedance measurement techniques for measuring an impedance of the electromagnetic load;
- and
- perform the selected measurement technique to generate an estimate of the impedance of the electromagnetic load.
