• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to:
• input a physical property value of a gas between the first member and the second member;
• input a movement profile of the second member with respect to the first member when bringing the plurality of droplets of the curable composition arranged on the first member and the second member into contact with each other;
• obtain a pressure of the gas between the first member and the second member based on the input physical property value and the input movement profile;
• and
• predict an amount of a residual gas confined among the plurality of droplets by the contact between the plurality of droplets and the second member based on the obtained pressure.
