Emergency alert systems with augmented location data

A computing device, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory in communication with the processor and storing instructions that, when read by the processor, cause the computing device to:
• obtain an indication of an alert condition in a facility;
• determine that the alert condition comprises an emergency condition in a first portion of the facility;
• determine a location for a plurality of mobile devices, each mobile device being located in the facility;
• determine, for each mobile device in the plurality of mobile devices, an exit location for the mobile device;
• generate, based on the emergency condition and the alert condition, an evacuation route for each mobile device in the plurality of mobile device, wherein the evacuation route comprises a route from the location of the mobile device in the facility to the exit location for the mobile device;
• generate, for each mobile device based on the emergency condition and the evacuation route, an emergency alert for each mobile device;
• and
• transmit each emergency alert to the corresponding mobile device, wherein the emergency alert causes the mobile device to display a notification irrespective of an alert-enabled setting of the mobile device.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform steps comprising:

• obtaining an indication of an alert condition in a facility;
• determining that the alert condition comprises an emergency condition in a first portion of the facility;
• determining a location for a plurality of mobile devices, each mobile device being located in the facility;
• determining, for each mobile device in the plurality of mobile devices, an exit location for the mobile device;
• generating, based on the emergency condition and the alert condition, an evacuation route for each mobile device in the plurality of mobile device, wherein the evacuation route comprises a route from the location of the mobile device in the facility to the exit location for the mobile device;
• generating, for each mobile device based on the emergency condition and the evacuation route, an emergency alert for each mobile device;
• and
• transmitting each emergency alert to the corresponding mobile device, wherein the emergency alert causes the mobile device to display a notification irrespective of an alert-enabled setting of the mobile device.
