Augmented reality system and method for exposure therapy and motor skills training

A non-transitory computer-readable medium tangibly embodying computer-executable instructions of a program being executable by a hardware processor of a computing device with a user interface to provide operations comprising:

• display an initial guidance object associated with a treatment plan for a desired reaction of the user;
• receive a first sensor output of the sensor indicating a first reaction of the user to the initial guidance object;
• compare the first reaction and the desired reaction;
• generate an updated guidance object in response to the comparison of the first reaction and the desired reaction;
• and
• display the updated guidance object based on the comparison of the first reaction and the desired reaction.

A method comprising:

• displaying an initial guidance object associated with a treatment plan for a desired reaction of the user;
• receiving a first reaction of the user to the initial guidance object;
• comparing the first reaction and the desired reaction;
• generating an updated guidance object in response to the comparison of the first reaction and the desired reaction;
• and
• displaying the updated guidance object based on the comparison of the first reaction and the desired reaction.
