Method and System of Providing Search Results to Users

A method for enabling display of a targeted notification, the method comprising:

• receiving over a network a search term for which the targeted notification is to be generated;
• receiving data associated with the search term;
• generating a creative for the targeted notification based at least in part on the data received and the search term;
• determining targeting criteria for the targeted notification;
• and
• providing the creative and the targeting criteria to an advertising service over the network to enable displaying the targeted notification,
• wherein:
• the targeted notification provides notification of search results available for the search term, and
• a landing page for the creative is a search engine results page (SERP) for the search term.

A non-transitory computer readable medium on which are stored instructions that when executed cause a programmable device to:

• receive over a network a search term for which a targeted notification is to be generated;
• receive data associated with the search term;
• generate a creative for the targeted notification based at least in part on the data received and the search term;
• determine targeting criteria for the targeted notification;
• and
• provide the creative and the targeting criteria to an advertising service over the network to enable displaying the targeted notification,
• wherein:
• the targeted notification provides notification of search results available for the search term, and
• a landing page for the creative is a search engine results page (SERP) for the search term.
