Abstract
The present disclosure provides a solution-processed selective solar absorption coating and a process for the preparation thereof.
Claims21
A selective solar absorption coating comprising:
- an infrared reflecting coating;
- an absorptive coating comprising ceramic nanoparticles selected from the group consisting of transition metal nitrides, transition metal borides, transition metal carbides, and mixtures thereof disposed on a surface of the infrared reflecting coating;
- and
- an SiO2 antireflection coating disposed on the surface of the absorptive coating, wherein the absorptive coating is prepared from solution-processable ceramic nanoparticles.
