Abstract
A kit including a medical guide template, and a sterilizable receptacle accommodating the guide template, the kit being configured to allow deformation of the template into an operational medical guide.

A process for generation of an operational medical guide, the process comprising:
- providing a medical guide template
- making the medical guide template malleable,
- deforming the malleable medical guide template into an operational medical guide having a desired and structural configuration, wherein the deforming comprises applying stress on at least a part of the medical guide template;
- and
- rigidifying the structural conformation of the operational medical guide thereby obtaining an operational medical guide with a desired fixed structural configuration.

A process for generation of an operational medical guide, the process comprising:
- providing a medical guide template having a malleable structural configuration,
- deforming the medical guide template into an operational medical guide having a desired and structural configuration, wherein the deforming comprises applying stress on at least a part of the medical guide template;
- and
- rigidifying the structural conformation of the medical guide thereby obtaining an operational medical guide with a desired fixed structural configuration;
- wherein the entire process is performed while the medical guide template is enclosed within a receptacle configured to maintain sterility of the medical guide template.

A medical procedure comprising:
- obtaining a medical guide template having a malleable structural configuration,
- obtaining an image of an anatomical structure and imposing a coordinate system thereon, wherein the coordinate system identifies a desired trajectory of a medical device;
- determining a desired structural configuration of the medical guide template based on the identified trajectory;
- deforming the medical guide template into an operational medical guide having the desired structural configuration, wherein the deforming comprises applying stress on at least a part of the medical guide template;
- and
- curing the operational medical guide, thereby rigidifying the structural conformation of the medical guide so as to obtain an operational medical guide with the desired structural configuration being fixed;
- directing a medical device along the trajectory using the operational medical guide, thereby assisting in the performing of the medical procedure.
