A hybrid coiled tubing system comprising:
- composite coiled tubing;
- metallic coiled tubing;
- and
- a composite coiled tubing connector coupled to and joining the composite coiled tubing and the metallic coiled tubing.

A method of performing borehole servicing operations at a job site, the method comprising:
- running a tool string comprising a hybrid coiled tubing system into a borehole, the hybrid coiled tubing system comprising composite coiled tubing, either piping or metallic coiled tubing, and a composite coiled tubing connector coupled to and joining the composite piping and the at least one of the piping and the metallic coiled tubing;
- and
- performing servicing operations within the borehole.
