Abstract
Embodiments are disclosed for techniques to detect electronic system modification. The techniques include causing an electronic system to perform a predetermined set of routines. The techniques also include generating field scans of the electronic system while the predetermined set of routines is performed. The techniques further include comparing the field scans to baseline scans of the electronic system. Additionally, the techniques include determining that one of the field scans and one of the baseline scans are different. Further, the techniques include identifying at least one difference between the one field scan and the one baseline scan.
Claims20
A computer-implemented method comprising:
- causing an electronic system to perform a predetermined set of routines;
- generating a plurality of field scans of the electronic system while the predetermined set of routines is performed;
- comparing the plurality of field scans to a plurality of baseline scans of the electronic system;
- determining that one of the field scans and one of the baseline scans are different;
- and
- identifying at least one difference between the one field scan and the one baseline scan.
A computer program product comprising program instructions stored on a computer readable storage medium, wherein the computer readable storage medium is not a transitory signal per se, the program instructions executable by a processor to cause the processor to perform a method comprising:
- causing an electronic system to perform a predetermined set of routines;
- generating a plurality of field scans of the electronic system while the predetermined set of routines are performed;
- comparing the plurality of field scans to a plurality of baseline scans of the electronic system;
- determining that one of the field scans and one of the baseline scans are different;
- and
- identifying at least one difference between the one field scan and the one baseline scan.
A system comprising:
- a computer processing circuit;
- and
- a computer-readable storage medium storing instructions, which, when executed by the computer processing circuit, are configured to cause the computer processing circuit to perform a method comprising:
- causing an electronic system to perform a predetermined set of routines;
- generating a plurality of field scans of the electronic system while the predetermined set of routines are performed;
- generating an additional field scan of the electronic system comprising an image capture of the electronic system;
- comparing the plurality of field scans to a plurality of baseline scans of the electronic system;
- determining that one of the field scans and one of the baseline scans are different;
- and
- identifying at least one difference between the one field scan and the one baseline scan, wherein the plurality of field scans and the plurality of baseline scans are selected from a group consisting of:
- measures of the electronic system in the infrared spectrum;
- and
- measures of the electronic system in the radio frequency spectrum.
