System and method for bandwidth part operation

A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), the method comprising:

• receiving, on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first carrier, scheduling information for reception of a transmission on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) including a indication of a carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH;
• on a condition that a PDSCH scheduling offset is less than a threshold and on a condition that the carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH is the same as the first carrier, determining one or more quasi co-located (QCL) parameters based on a control resource set (CORESET) with a lowest CORESET identity (ID) in a bandwidth part (BWP) where the PDSCH is scheduled;
• on a condition that a PDSCH scheduling offset is less than a threshold and on a condition that the carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH is different from the first carrier, determining the one or more QCL parameters based on a lowest transmission configuration indication (TCI) state configured for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH in the BWP where the PDSCH is scheduled;
• and
• receiving the transmission on the PDSCH using the determined one or more QCL parameters.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) comprising:

• a processor;
• a receiver, wherein
• the receiver is configured to receive, on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first carrier, scheduling information for reception of a transmission on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) including a indication of a carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH;
• the processor is configured to:
• on a condition that a PDSCH scheduling offset is less than a threshold and on a condition that the carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH is the same as the first carrier, determine one or more quasi co-located (QCL) parameters based on a control resource set (CORESET) with a lowest CORESET identity (ID) in a bandwidth part (BWP) where the PDSCH is scheduled;
• on a condition that a PDSCH scheduling offset is less than a threshold and on a condition that the carrier for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH is different from the first carrier, determine the one or more QCL parameters based on a lowest transmission configuration indication (TCI) state configured for the reception of a transmission on the PDSCH in the BWP where the PDSCH is scheduled;
• and
• the receiver is configured to receive the transmission on the PDSCH using the determined one or more QCL parameters.
