Parental controls

A method comprising:

• receiving, via a network and by one or more hardware processors, a request initiated by a first device via a first user interface for a first account to access a media content item;
• causing;
• by the one or more hardware processors;
• presentation of a second user interface on a second device associated with a second account;
• receiving, by the one or more hardware processors, an indication of a selected option of the second user interface;
• and
• based on the selected option, granting, after a delay, the requested access to the media content item by the first account.

A system comprising:

• a memory that stores instructions;
• and
• one or more processors configured by the memory to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, via a network, a request initiated by a first device via a first user interface for a first account to access a media content item;
• causing presentation of a second user interface on a second device associated with a second account;
• receiving an indication of a selected option of the second user interface;
• and
• based on the selected option, granting, after a delay, the requested access to the media content item by the first account.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• receiving, via a network, a request initiated by a first device via a first user interface for a first account to access a media content item;
• causing presentation of a second user interface on a second device associated with a second account;
• receiving an indication of a selected option of the second user interface;
• and
• based on the selected option, granting, after a delay, the requested access to the media content item by the first account.
