Abstract
A camera includes a first microphone, a second microphone, and a processor. The processor determines a correlation metric between portions of audio signals obtained from the first and second microphones. The camera includes a memory to store the portions of the audio signals as portions of an output audio signal.
Claims20
A camera comprising:
- a first microphone configured to obtain a first audio signal;
- a second microphone configured to obtain a second audio signal;
- a processor configured to determine a first correlation metric between a first portion of the first audio signal and a first portion of the second audio signal obtained during a first time interval;
- and
- a memory configured to store the first portion of the first audio signal as a first portion of an output audio signal corresponding to the first time interval on a condition that the first correlation metric exceeds a first predefined threshold.
2 more elements
A method for generating an output audio signal in a camera, the method comprising:
- obtaining a first audio signal from a first microphone;
- obtaining a second audio signal from a second microphone;
- determining a first correlation metric between a first portion of the first audio signal and a first portion of the second audio signal captured during a first time interval;
- determining a second correlation metric between a second portion of the first audio signal and a second portion of the second audio signal captured during a second time interval;
- and
- responsive to a first correlation metric exceeding a first predefined threshold, storing the first portion of the first audio signal as a first portion of the output audio signal corresponding to the first time interval.
3 more elements
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions when executed by a processor causing the processor to perform steps including:
- determining a first correlation metric between a first audio signal and a second audio signal captured during a first time interval;
- and
- storing a first portion of the first audio signal as a first portion of an output audio signal corresponding to the first time interval.
