Abstract
A method and device for sidelink data duplication. The method includes: determining whether a sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on a sidelink radio bearer on which the sidelink data packet is to be transmitted; performing sidelink data duplication of the sidelink data packet when it is determined that the sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on the sidelink radio bearer. Therefore, a solution provides for properly configuring data duplication for sidelink.
Claims25
A method in a terminal device for sidelink data duplication, comprising:
- determining whether a sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on a sidelink radio bearer on which the sidelink data packet is to be transmitted;
- and
- performing sidelink data duplication of the sidelink data packet when it is determined that the sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on the sidelink radio bearer.

A method in a network device for sidelink data duplication, comprising:
- transmitting configuration information for the sidelink data duplication to a terminal device;
- wherein the configuration information is used by the terminal device to determine whether a sidelink data packet is to be duplicated, based on a sidelink radio bearer on which the sidelink data packet is to be transmitted.
A terminal device for sidelink data duplication comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory containing instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the terminal device to perform operations to:
- determine whether a sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on a sidelink radio bearer on which the sidelink data packet is to be transmitted;
- and
- perform sidelink data duplication of the sidelink data packet when determined that the sidelink data packet is to be duplicated based on the sidelink radio bearer.
A network device for sidelink data duplication comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory containing instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the network device to perform operations to:
- transmit configuration information for the sidelink data duplication to a terminal device;
- wherein the configuration information is used by the terminal device to determine whether a sidelink data packet is to be duplicated, based on a sidelink radio bearer on which the sidelink data packet is to be transmitted.
