Method And Apparatus For Processing Ethernet Data In Optical Network, And System

An apparatus for processing data, applied to an optical network device, wherein the apparatus comprises a processor and a memory, the processor is coupled to the memory, and the processor is configured to perform the following steps:

• extracting Ethernet data from a data frame of a first path, converting the Ethernet data into another format, and placing the Ethernet data converted into the another format into a data frame of a second path, wherein the optical network device on which the processor is used is a destination device of the first path and a source device of the second path;
• and
• extracting overhead information from the data frame of the first path, and inserting the overhead information into the data frame of the second path.

An optical network system, wherein the system comprises a first device, a second device, and a third device, the first device is a source device of a first path, and the third device is a destination device of a second path, the second device is configured to:

• extract Ethernet data from a data frame of the first path, converting the Ethernet data into another format, and placing the Ethernet data converted into the another format into a data frame of a second path, wherein the optical network device on which the processor is used is a destination device of the first path and a source device of the second path;
• and
• extract overhead information from the data frame of the first path, and inserting the overhead information into the data frame of the second path.
