Rotating electrical machine and production method thereof

A rotating electrical machine comprising:

• a magnetic field-producing unit which includes a magnet unit and a magnetic core, the magnet unit being equipped with a plurality of magnetic poles arranged to have magnetic polarities located alternately in a circumferential direction of the magnetic field-producing unit;
• an armature which is equipped with a multi-phase winding;
• and
• a rotor which is implemented by one of the magnetic field-producing unit and the armature,
• wherein the magnetic core is made of a stack of a plurality of annular core plates and an annular end plate, the annular core plates being disposed on each other in a form of a stack with axially opposed ends, the annular end plate being mounted on at least one of the axially opposed ends of the stack of the annular core plates,
• wherein the core plates and the end plate have formed therein through-holes which extend through the stack of the core plates and the end plate in an axial direction thereof,
• wherein fastening members which are of a bar shape are disposed in the through-holes,
• wherein each of the fastening members has a flange on an end of a length thereof, the flanges of the fastening members engaging the end plate to tighten the core plates in the axial direction, and
• wherein the end plate has a wave shape which is deformable in the axial direction.
