Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for providing vibration transduction and radio-frequency communication in proximity to an electrically conductive structure. The system may comprise an antenna element, an electrically conductive structure in proximity to the antenna element, and a vibration transducer comprising a material. The material may comprise a ferromagnetic material with piezoelectric properties. The vibration transducer may be positioned between the antenna element and the conductive structure.

A system providing vibration transduction and radio-frequency communication in proximity to an electrically conductive structure, the system comprising:
- an antenna element;
- an electrically conductive element in proximity to the antenna element;
- a vibration transducer positioned to at least partially shield the electrically conductive element from a magnetic field produced by the antenna element;
- and
- an electronic circuit coupled to the antenna element and the vibration transducer.
A system providing vibration transduction and radio-frequency communication in proximity to an electrically conductive structure, the system comprising:
- an antenna element;
- an electrically conductive element in proximity to the antenna element;
- a vibration transducer positioned between the electrically conductive element and the antenna element, wherein the vibration transducer comprises a ferromagnetic material with piezoelectric properties;
- and
- an electronic circuit coupled to the antenna element and the vibration transducer.
