An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a display; a camera module; a memory; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to obtain a selfie image, generate a user avatar on the basis of the obtained selfie image, reprocess the user avatar to generate at least one custom object interworking with applications of the electronic device, and while an application is executed, output the at least one custom object on a screen where the application is executed.
