Logistics sensors for smart contract arbitration

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a processor on a computer system, perform a method for modifying smart contract code in response to environmental sensor data, the method comprising:

• receiving environmental sensor data routed from an edge gateway, the edge gateway comprising a signal context matcher configured to:
• receive a signal from an environmental sensor on a mobile edge device;
• based on the signal, identify transaction partner data associated with the mobile edge device;
• based on the signal, identify physical environment data associated with the mobile edge device;
• and
• route the transaction partner data and the physical environment data to a node in distributed ledger technology network;
• based at least in part on the transaction partner data, identifying a smart contract running on the distributed ledger;
• based at least in part on the physical environment data, identifying a smart contract modification;
• generating code corresponding to the smart contract modification;
• and
• executing the modified smart contract code on the distributed ledger.

A system for modifying smart contract logic in response to an environmental sensor signal, the system comprising:

• an environmental sensor configured to transmit a sensor signal, the sensor signal based at least in part on detection of an environment parameter and comprising an electronic identifier;
• a remote signal context matcher, the signal context matcher configured to identify transaction data based on the electronic identifier and route the environment parameter and the transaction data to a central platform;
• an electronic smart contract arbitrator in communication with a node on a distributed ledger technology (DLT) network and configured to:
• identify smart contract logic running on a distributed ledger, the identification based at least in part on the sensor signal;
• identify a modification to the smart contract logic, the identification based at least in part on the sensor signal;
• and
• a smart contract reviser installed on a node of the distributed ledger and configured to:
• receive an instruction from the arbitrator corresponding to the modification to the smart contract logic;
• and
• generate a new data record comprising the modified smart contract logic and append the data record to the distributed ledger.
