System and method for identifying target application for receiving information related to subject application

A system for identifying at least one target application for receiving information related to a subject application, wherein the subject application is to be promoted onto the at least one target application, the system comprising a data processing arrangement, wherein the data processing arrangement is configured to:

• select a group of applications from a database arrangement;
• analyse the subject application and each of the applications in the group of applications to identify features related thereto;
• map the subject application and each of the applications in the group of applications in a multi-dimensional space based on the identified features thereof;
• calculate, in the multi-dimensional space, a distance value of each of the applications in the group of applications from the subject application using a distance metric;
• select, from the group of applications, the at least one target application having the distance value below a predetermined threshold;
• and
• control display of the information related to the subject application on a user device (206) using the at least one target application.
