Packing and shipment sharing through trusted network

A computer program product for shipment sharing, the computer program product comprising a computer-readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a computer to cause the computer to perform:

• collecting a shopping order history, neighborhood information and friend information from user data;
• analyzing a current order by a user from a shopping service;
• checking whether a neighbor identified from the neighborhood information and the friend information purchased an item from the shopping service based on the shopping order history;
• and
• suggesting to the user to share a packing and shipment cost with the neighbor by combining the purchased item by the neighbor and the current order by the user in a single package.

A shipment sharing system, the system comprising:

• a processor, and
• a memory, the memory storing instructions to cause the processor to perform;
• collecting a shopping order history, neighborhood information and friend information from user data;
• analyzing a current order by a user from a shopping service;
• checking whether a neighbor identified from the neighborhood information and the friend information purchased an item from the shopping service based on the shopping order history;
• and
• suggesting to the user to share a packing and shipment cost with the neighbor by combining the purchased item by the neighbor and the current order by the user in a single package.
