Abstract
One disclosed method involves determining at least first and second segments of content represented by a first file, determining first data corresponding to occasions on which the first segment has been previously accessed, and determining second data corresponding to occasions on which the second segment has been previously accessed. Based at least in part on the first data and the second data, the first segment may be determined to be more likely relevant to a first user than the second segment.
Claims20
A method performed by at least one computing device, comprising:
- determining at least first and second segments of content represented by a first file;
- determining first data corresponding to occasions on which the first segment has been previously accessed;
- determining second data corresponding to occasions on which the second segment has been previously accessed;
- and
- determining, based at least in part on the first data and the second data, that the first segment is likely more relevant to a first user than the second segment.
A system, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one computer-readable medium encoded with instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
- determine at least first and second segments of content represented by a first file;
- determine first data corresponding to occasions on which the first segment has been previously accessed;
- determine second data corresponding to occasions on which the second segment has been previously accessed;
- and
- determine, based at least in part on the first data and the second data, that the first segment is likely more relevant to a first user than the second segment.
A method performed by at least one computing device, comprising:
- decoding at least one first payload of a first media file to determine at least first un-encoded data representing audio;
- determining first text corresponding to at least a portion of the audio;
- determining, based at least in part on the first text, at least first and second segments of media content represented by the first media file;
- and
- generating a second media file including at least one second payload that represents the first segment but not the second segment.
