Abstract
One general aspect includes a method to initiate remote control of a vehicle, the method including: receiving, via a processor, an indication that a manual drive sequence should be initiated by a remotely located data center; and based on the indication, via the processor, initiating the manual drive sequence such that the data center can remotely control the vehicle.
Claims20
A method to initiate remote control of a vehicle, the method comprising:
- receiving, via a processor, an indication that a manual drive sequence should be initiated by a remotely located data center;
- and
- based on the indication, via the processor, initiating the manual drive sequence such that the data center can remotely control the vehicle.
A system to initiate remote control of a vehicle, the system comprising:
- a memory configured to comprise one or more executable instructions and a processor configured to execute the executable instructions, wherein the executable instructions enable the processor to carry out the following steps:
- receiving an indication that a manual drive sequence should be initiated by a remotely located data center;
- and
- based on the indication, initiating the manual drive sequence such that the data center can remotely control the vehicle.
A non-transitory and machine-readable medium having stored thereon executable instructions adapted to initiate remote control of a vehicle, which when provided to a processor and executed thereby, causes the processor to carry out the following steps:
- receiving an indication that a manual drive sequence should be initiated by a remotely located data center;
- and
- based on the indication, initiating the manual drive sequence such that the data center can remotely control the vehicle.
