Abstract
Low cost easy to use long battery life underwater night fishing light. This underwater light is extremely lightweight and dissipates heat very effectively. No more need for heavy metal plates called heat sink. These lights are so light they will float or can be used up to 60′ deep. Cost and energy efficient for hours and hours of enjoyment.
Claims2
An improved system or method of dissipating heat generated from high powered leds on a metal board while generating light. A board that is 100% sealed from all elements ie;
- moisture etc. in a hard plastic shell, that allows the light to penetrate the exterior and illuminate the underwater area.
A system where 2 part epoxy is used to bond the metal board to the hard plastic surfaces to allow the transfer of heat into the plastic shell and therefore directly into the water. Although the ends of the boards transfer the most heat to the exterior the complete hard plastic shell. The entire shell will transfer heat to the water keeping the board at a workable temperature.
