Abstract
A scroll compressor is provided in which one of a fixed scroll or an orbiting scroll is provided with at least one guide groove, and the other is provided with a self-rotation prevention member inserted into the at least one guide groove to revolve in the at least one guide groove and configured to prevent self-rotation of the orbiting scroll.

A scroll compressor, comprising:
- a casing having a sealed inner space,
- a fixed scroll disposed in the inner space of the casing;
- an orbiting scroll coupled to the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber and configured to orbit with respect to the fixed scroll;
- and
- a main frame configured to support the orbiting scroll, wherein the orbiting scroll, comprises:
- an orbiting wrap engaged with the fixed scroll to form the compression chamber;
- an orbiting head plate disposed between the orbiting wrap and the main frame, wherein one of the fixed scroll or the orbiting scroll is provided with at least one guide groove, the other of the fixed scroll or the orbiting scroll is provided with at least one self-rotation prevention member which is inserted into the at least one guide groove such that the at least one self-rotation prevention member revolves in the at least one guide groove.

A scroll compressor, comprising:
- a casing having a sealed inner space,
- a first scroll disposed in the inner space of the casing;
- a second scroll coupled to the first scroll to form a compression chamber and configured to orbit with respect to the first scroll;
- and
- a main frame configured to support the second scroll, wherein the second scroll, comprises:
- a wrap engaged with a wrap of the first scroll to form the compression chamber;
- a head plate disposed between the wrap of the second scroll and the main frame, wherein one of the first scroll or the second scroll is provided with at least one guide groove, the other of the first scroll or the second scroll is provided with at least one pin configured to be inserted into and revolve within the at least one guide groove.
