Apparatus for controlling valve of coolant circulation system and method thereof

An apparatus for controlling a vehicle, the apparatus comprising:

• a valve configured to introduce or block a flow of coolant discharged from a coolant pump into latent heat storage;
• a first temperature sensor configured to measure a first coolant temperature of the coolant discharged from the coolant pump;
• a second temperature sensor configured to measure a second coolant temperature of the coolant stored in the latent heat storage;
• and
• a controller configured to control opening and closing of the valve based on the first coolant temperature measured by the first temperature sensor and the second coolant temperature measured by the second temperature sensor.
