Abstract
Systems and methods describe to a downhole tool with an expandable ball seat. More specifically, the systems and methods include a sliding downhole tool with a moving screen, wherein the screen is provisionally protected by a temporary member.
Claims20
A tool compromising:
- a screen;
- a temporary member that is configured to temporarily cover one side wall of the screen, wherein cement is configured to flow through an inner diameter of the tool before the temporary member is dissolved and the temporary member is dissolved after the cement flows through the inner diameter of the tool.
A method utilizing a tool compromising:
- temporarily covering one sidewall of a screen with a temporary member, wherein cement is flows through an inner diameter of the tool before the temporary member is dissolved and the temporary member is dissolved after the cement flows through the inner diameter of the tool.
