Lock for motor vehicle hood

Lock for motor vehicle hood comprising:

• a catch pivoted to a box of a lock around a pivoting pin in such a way to move from a closing position, wherein it fastens a striker fixed to the body of the vehicle, to an opening position, wherein it does not fasten the striker;
• said catch comprising a slot suitable for fastening said striker, retention means, stop means and cam means;
• a pawl pivoted to the box of the lock around a pivoting pin in such a way to move from a closing position, wherein it blocks the catch, to an opening position, wherein it does not block the catch;
• said pawl comprising retention means suitable for cooperating with the retention means of the catch to block the catch in closing position, stop means suitable for being stopped against said stop means of the catch to hold the pawl in opening position, when the catch is in opening position, cam means that cooperate with cam means of the catch to move the pawl during the movement of the catch from the opening position to the closing position and a fastening seat;
• a safety lever pivoted to the box of the lock, around a pivoting pin, in such a way to move from a closing position, wherein it can fasten said striker, to an opening position, wherein it cannot fasten the striker;
• said safety lever comprising a blocking seat suitable for blocking said striker when the safety lever is in closed position;
• a first spring that stresses said catch towards the opening position;
• a second spring that stresses said pawl towards the closing position;
• a third spring that stresses said safety lever towards the closing position;
• a first Bowden cable connected to said pawl in order to pull it towards the opening position;
• and
• a second Bowden cable connected to said safety lever in order to pull said safety lever towards the opening position.
