A method of fusing cell masses, comprising seeding cell masses on a plane capable of cell adhesion and culturing the cell masses as a culture medium is fed from both the obverse and reverse sides of the cell mass-seeded plane.
A method of preparing a fused cell mass, comprising seeding cell masses on a plane capable of cell adhesion and culturing the cell masses as a culture medium is fed from both the obverse and reverse sides of the cell mass-seeded plane to thereby fuse the cell masses.
A method of constructing a vascular network structure, comprising seeding cell masses on a plane capable of cell adhesion and culturing the cell masses as a culture medium is fed from both the obverse and reverse sides of the cell mass-seeded plane to thereby form a vascular network structure.
An artificial organ that is prepared by fusing liver buds in vitro as they have been formed from hepatocytes, mesenchymal cells and vascular cells and which has a vascular network structure and/or a bile duct structure.
