Tableted Cannabinoid Chewing Gum With Layered Structure

A compressed chewing gum tablet, the tablet comprising a plurality of particles, including a first population of particles comprising water-insoluble gum base and a second population of particles comprising water-soluble chewing gum ingredients, and the tablet constituting at least two layers, wherein

• a) a first layer of the tablet comprises water-insoluble gum base and
• b) a second layer of the tablet, which is cohered to and adjacent to the first layer, comprises water-soluble chewing gum ingredients, the second layer being free of water-insoluble gum base, and
• wherein the tablet comprises one or more cannabinoids.

A tableted chewing gum composition, the composition comprising a plurality of particles, including a first population of particles comprising water-insoluble gum base and a second population of particles comprising water-soluble chewing gum ingredients, and the composition constituting at least two modules, wherein

• a) a first module of the composition comprises water-insoluble gum base and
• b) a second module of the composition, which is cohered to and adjacent to the first module, comprises water-soluble chewing gum ingredients, the second module being free of water-insoluble gum base, and
• wherein the composition comprises one or more cannabinoids.
