Masking a primary account number between a party and a service provider

A computer implemented method for masking a primary account number between a party and a service provider comprising:

• retrieving, at the service provider, a plurality of transaction records from a database connected to a server execution environment of the service provider, each of the plurality of transaction records including a second masking value generated by a second hash function executed in the server execution environment;
• receiving, at the service provider, from a client execution environment of the party a request for a report on a subset of the plurality of transaction records;
• generating, at the service provider, a fillable document with a hash function plugin for the client execution environment;
• receiving, at the service provider, the fillable document with a masking value generated by the hash function plugin;
• matching, at the service provider, the masking value to the second masking value;
• in response to a match, querying, by the service provider, the database for transaction history associated with the masking value as the subset of the plurality of transaction records;
• and
• generating an analysis report based on the queries.

A computer implemented system for masking a primary account number between a party and a service provider comprising:

• a first server associated with the service provider for analyzing a plurality of transaction records stored in a database, said first server being coupled to the database;
• a second server associated with the party for managing a primary account number;
• retrieving, by the first server at the service provider, the plurality of transaction records from the database, each of the plurality of transaction records including a second masking value generated by a second hash function;
• receiving, at the service provider, from the second server a masking value, wherein the second server having a first hash function to generate the masking value in response to executing the first hash function, for the primary account number, said primary account number having an affiliation with the party, wherein the first server lacks identification of the affiliation between the primary account number and the party;
• confirming, by the first server at the service provider, the first hash function is identical to the second hash function;
• matching, by the first server at the service provider, the masking value to the second masking value;
• in response to a match, wherein the first server queries the database for transaction history associated with the masking value;
• and
• wherein the first server generates an analysis report based on the queries for the second server.
