Abstract
In a method for producing a brake disc for a motor vehicle, a base disc, which is made of cast iron or aluminum in particular, is provided and equipped with an anti-corrosion layer. The anti-corrosion layer is applied using a wet chemical or galvanic method.

A method for producing a brake disk for a motor vehicle, comprising:
- applying an anti-corrosion coating on a base disk by way of a wet-chemical or galvanic method.
A brake disk for a motor vehicle, comprising:
- a base disk;
- and
- an anti-corrosion coating on at least one surface of the base disk,
- wherein the anti-corrosion coating is a wet-chemical or galvanic coating.
