An aqueous inkjet ink comprising an aqueous vehicle, a pigment, a polymeric dispersant, a polymeric binder and a water insoluble additive, wherein said polymeric dispersant and said polymeric binder are different polymers, and said additive is dispersed by said polymeric dispersant and said polymeric binder, has a solubility in water of less than 5 grams in 100 grams of water, and contains one or more molecules having a structure of Formula I:
- wherein W1 is OR3 or COOH;
- W2 is OR3, COOH, SO3H or NH2;
- R1 is H or C1-C20 linear alkyl, R2 is C1-C20 linear alkyl, C3-C20 branched alkyl, C6-C40 aryl or C6-C40 substituted aryl, each R3 is independently H, C3-C20 branched alkyl or C3-C20 substituted branched alkyl;
- each R4 is independently H, C1-C20 linear alkyl or C3-C20 branched alkyl;
- and each R5 is independently H or C1-C20 linear alkyl.
