Data Transmission Method and Apparatus in WLAN

A communication apparatus comprising at least one processor and a computer-readable storage medium, wherein the storage medium stores instructions, and wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, enable the communication apparatus to perform:

• receiving a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), from a transmission opportunity (TXOP) holder, wherein the PPDU comprises a TXOP duration field, wherein the TXOP duration field consists of 7 bits, wherein the TXOP duration field is used to indicate remaining time for using a channel by the communication apparatus which is a TXOP holder, wherein the TXOP duration field includes a first part which is used to indicate a granularity used to indicate the remaining time, and a second part which is used to indicate the remaining time using the granularity indicated by the first part wherein a first value of the first part indicates a first granularity, wherein a second value of the first part indicates a second granularity, wherein the first granularity is 8 μs, and wherein the second granularity is 128 μs;
• and
• obtaining the TXOP duration according to the TXOP duration field.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, wherein the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores an instruction which, when executed by one or more processors of an apparatus, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), wherein the PPDU comprises a transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration field, wherein the TXOP duration field consists of 7 bits, wherein the TXOP duration field is used to indicate remaining time for using a channel by the apparatus which is a TXOP holder, wherein the TXOP duration field includes a first part which is used to indicate a granularity used to indicate the remaining time, and a second part which is used to indicate the remaining time using the granularity indicated by the first part, wherein a first value of the first part indicates a first granularity, wherein a second value of the first part indicates a second granularity, wherein the first granularity is 8 μs, and wherein the second granularity is 128 μs;
• and
• sending the PPDU.
