End-to-end automated servicing model for cloud computing platforms

A controller server system of a cloud computing platform, the controller server system comprising:

• a logic device;
• and
• a storage device containing instructions executable by the logic device to:
• provide an update of a cloud computing service operating on the cloud computing platform for installation to a different server system of the cloud computing platform other than the controller server system;
• provide a load associated with a user interaction with the cloud computing service to the different server system;
• and
• instruct the different server system to validate the installed update online, including:
• instruct the different server system to configure the installed update for communication with other hardware and software in the cloud computing platform,
• instruct the different server system to accept the migrated load, and
• instruct the different server system to resume handling the user interaction by the installed update.

A server system of a cloud computing platform, the server comprising:

• a logic device;
• and
• a storage device containing instructions executable by the logic device to:
• install an update of a cloud computing service operating on a cloud computing platform to the storage device;
• migrate a load associated with a user interaction with the cloud computing service to the storage device;
• and
• validate the installed update online, including:
• configuring the installed update for communication with other hardware and software in the cloud computing platform,
• accepting the migrated load, and
• resuming handling the user interaction by the installed update.
