A method of controlling an agent device, the method causing a computer:

• to provide a service including an output of a response by sound in response to a speech of an occupant of a vehicle by an agent function;
• to cause a display provided in the vehicle to display an animation regarding an agent corresponding to the agent function by a display controller;
• and
• to move the animation between a first display area included in the display and a second display area of which a position is different from a position of the first display area in the vehicle in response to an instruction from the occupant.

A computer-readable non-transitory storage medium that stores a program causing a computer:

• to provide a service including an output of a response by sound in response to a speech of an occupant of a vehicle by an agent function;
• to cause a display provided in the vehicle to display an animation regarding an agent corresponding to the agent function by a display controller;
• and
• to move the animation between a first display area included in the display and a second display area of which a position is different from a position of the first display area in the vehicle in response to an instruction from the occupant.
