Abstract
According to the present disclosure, a textile printing ink jet ink composition includes a thioindigo-skeleton-containing dye and elemental sulfur. A content of the elemental sulfur in the textile printing ink jet ink composition is 0.01 ppm or greater and 500 ppm or less relative to the total mass of the ink composition.

A textile printing ink jet ink composition comprising:
- a thioindigo-skeleton-containing dye;
- and
- elemental sulfur, wherein
- a content of the elemental sulfur is 0.01 ppm or greater and 500 ppm or less relative to a total mass of the textile printing ink jet ink composition.

A textile printing method comprising:
- a deposition step of depositing a textile printing ink jet ink composition onto a transfer sheet by using an ink jet method;
- and
- a transfer step of, after the deposition step, positioning the transfer sheet and a recording medium to face each other and heating the transfer sheet and the recording medium, wherein
- the textile printing ink jet ink composition includes a thioindigo-skeleton-containing dye and elemental sulfur, and a content of the elemental sulfur in the textile printing ink jet ink composition is 0.01 ppm or greater and 500 ppm or less relative to a total mass of the textile printing ink jet ink composition.
