Abstract
A method of providing information by a server and an apparatus of a server for providing information are provided. The method includes receiving mode information on a beacon service; generating control information based on the mode information; and transmitting the control information to an output device, wherein the mode information is identified from a beacon signal transmitted by a beacon transmitting device, and the beacon signal includes mode information corresponding to at least one piece of distance information.
Claims10
A method of providing information by a server, the method comprising:
- receiving mode information on a beacon service from a first electronic device;
- generating control information based on the mode information;
- and
- transmitting the control information to a second electronic device,
- wherein the mode information is identified from a beacon signal transmitted by the second electronic device, and the beacon signal includes at least one piece of mode information corresponding to distance information, and
- wherein the mode information is determined based on the distance information corresponding to distance between the second electronic device and the first electronic device among the at least one piece of mode information included in the beacon signal.
An apparatus of a server for providing information, the apparatus comprising:
- a communication unit configured to communicate with at least one network node;
- and
- a controller configured to control reception of mode information concerning a beacon service from a first electronic device, generate control information based on the mode information, and transmit the control information to a second electronic device,
- wherein the mode information is identified from a beacon signal transmitted by the second electronic device, and the beacon signal includes at least one piece of mode information corresponding to distance information, and
- wherein the mode information is determined based on the distance information corresponding to a distance between the second electronic device and the first electronic device among the at least one piece of mode information included in the beacon signal.
A method of providing information by a server, the method comprising:
- receiving mode information on a beacon service from an electronic device;
- generating control information based on the mode information;
- and
- transmitting the control information to a mobile device,
- wherein the mode information is identified from a beacon signal transmitted by the mobile device, and the beacon signal includes at least one piece of mode information corresponding to distance information, and
- wherein the mode information is determined based on the distance information corresponding to distance between the mobile device and the electronic device among the at least one piece of mode information included in the beacon signal.
An apparatus of a server for providing information, the apparatus comprising:
- a communication unit configured to communicate with at least one network node;
- and
- a controller configured to control reception of mode information concerning a beacon service from an electronic device, generate control information based on the mode information, and transmit the control information to a mobile device,
- wherein the mode information is identified from a beacon signal transmitted by the mobile device, and the beacon signal includes at least one piece of mode information corresponding to distance information, and
- wherein the mode information is determined based on the distance information corresponding to distance between the mobile device and the electronic device among the at least one piece of mode information included in the beacon signal.
