Systems and methods for rewards-based p2p funding

A P2P service provider system for rewards-based funding using incentive program rewards earned by a cardholder with a financial service provider system, the system comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• enrolling the cardholder in a reward funding service, wherein the enrolling includes:
• establishing a token-based authentication with the financial service provider system;
• and
• authenticating the cardholder with the financial service provider system;
• and
• enabling the cardholder to use accumulated incentive program rewards, wherein the enabling includes:
• sending, to the financial service provider system, a request for a transaction for redeeming rewards of the cardholder;
• receiving a redemption approval from the financial service provider system;
• sending a confirmation of the transaction to the financial service provider system;
• and
• receiving an adjusted rewards balance from the financial service provider system.

A cardholder system for funding a P2P service system using incentive program rewards, the system comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• a storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
• providing an integrated solution to monetizing reward balances, wherein the integrated solution comprises a P2P application connected via deep-linking to a financial service provider system and a P2P service system;
• displaying to a cardholder within the integrated solution a current rewards balance;
• and
• enabling the cardholder to use the current rewards balance within the integrated solution.
