System and method for multivariate testing of messages to subgroup in a one-to-many messaging platform

A messaging platform having a computer program product comprising a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one programmable processor, cause the at least one programmable processor to perform operations comprising:

• generate a text message associated with a client, the message being generated for transmission to a plurality of users via one or more messaging services;
• define a subset of the plurality of users, the subset being defined according to one or more attributes associated with the text message and/or the plurality of users;
• transmit via at least one of the one or more messaging services, the text message to the subset of the plurality of users;
• analyze one or more variables of the transmitting of the text message to the subset of the plurality of users, the analyze operation generating performance metrics of the text message relative to the subset of the plurality of users;
• optimize the text message based on the performance metrics generated from the analyze operation;
• and
• configure the optimized text message for transmission to the plurality of users or other subsets of the plurality of users via the one or more messaging services.

A system comprising:

• a messaging platform that facilitates communication between one or more clients and a plurality of users via one or more messaging services used by user devices associated with the one or more clients and the plurality of users, each of the plurality of users being registered with the messaging platform and associated with at least one of the one or more clients via the messaging platform;
• a programmable processor in communication with the messaging platform;
• and
• a machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by the programmable processor, cause the at least one programmable processor to perform operations comprising:
• generate a text message associated with a client, the message being generated for transmission to a plurality of users via one or more messaging services;
• define a subset of the plurality of users, the subset being defined according to one or more attributes associated with the text message and/or the plurality of users;
• transmit via at least one of the one or more messaging services, the text message to the subset of the plurality of users;
• analyze one or more variables of the transmitting of the text message to the subset of the plurality of users, the analyze operation generating performance metrics of the text message relative to the subset of the plurality of users;
• optimize the text message based on the performance metrics generated from the analyze operation;
• and
• configure the optimized text message for transmission to the plurality of users or other subsets of the plurality of users via the one or more messaging services.
