Reconfigurable magnetic display fixture and system

A retail display fixture comprising:

• a magnetic focal wall including:
• a magnetic panel being substantially planar and producing a magnetic field, the magnetic panel defining a front surface,
• a perforated panel being substantially planar and defining a plurality of perforations extending entirely through the perforated panel, wherein the perforated panel is coupled with the magnetic panel such that the perforated panel extends in a substantially parallel plane with and is positioned in front of the magnetic panel and the front surface of the magnetic panel is positioned behind each of the plurality of perforations, and
• an electrical contact strip positioned between the magnetic panel and the perforated panel such that the electrical contact strip is exposed through the perforated panel via a number of the plurality of perforations, the electrical contact strip being powered by a power source;
• and
• an auxiliary support member coupled to the magnetic focal wall and configured to support a product thereon away from the magnetic focal wall and defining a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and the auxiliary support member including:
• an electrically powered component on the first end of the auxiliary support member,
• a magnet on the second end of the auxiliary support member sized to fit within any one of the plurality of perforations such that the magnet of the auxiliary member is magnetically coupled with the magnetic panel through one of the plurality of perforations and the auxiliary support member extends forwardly from the perforated panel supported solely by the magnetic focal wall, and
• an electrical contact on the second end of the auxiliary support member directly contacting the electrical contact strip to power the auxiliary support member to activate the electrically powered component via the electrical contact strip.
