A synergistic microbicidal composition comprising phenoxyethanol and dipropylene glycol phenyl ether.
A method for inhibiting the growth of microorganisms in an aqueous medium;
- said method comprising adding to the aqueous medium phenoxyethanol and dipropylene glycol phenyl ether wherein the weight ratio of phenoxyethanol to dipropylene glycol phenyl ether is from 1:0.01 to 1:27.
